The Founders of AECredentialing.com recognized the progression of changing licensing requirements, professional organization memberships and the increasing demands associated with continuing education for architects, engineers and landscape architects. Because of her entrepreneurial spirit and business management skills, Lexi Selvig launched LS Credentialing Services. The result is an innovative, simple and cost effective software solution exclusively designed to securely monitor and manage credentials for architects, engineers and landscape architects.
Lexi Selvig, Founder
Lexi Selvig has a respected history of achievement in business development, including over 25 years diversified sales and marketing experience representing products and services to A/E/LA professionals. After receiving an Associate Arts degree from Anoka Ramsey Community College and a mini MBA from the University of St. Thomas, her professional career began as the Assistant to the Principal and Marketing Manager of a large architecture/engineering firm headquartered in Minneapolis, MN. She launched and maintained a multi-state territory of 300 active accounts made up of designers, specifiers and purchasers. Lexi became a certified presenter for AIA and IIDA continuing education, and has conducted product training and continuing education courses for architects, engineers, designers, contractors, distributors and dealers. She has researched, written and modified construction specifications after achieving Construction Documents Technology certification. Lexi is published with articles appearing in Professional Services Management Journal newsletters and the Association of Licensed Architects quarterly journal "Licensed Architect". Lexi is a member of AIA Kansas City. She serves as a mentor to international software engineering students attending UMKC.
Jeff's current responsibilities include web site management and project oversight. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M in 1988 and a Master of Software Engineering from Texas Christian University in 1998. Jeff has over 27 years of software experience ranging from embedded systems to database development. He has had numerous publications on software development methodologies and given lectures at several software conferences. in 2015, Jeff was licensed as a professional engineer in the state of Texas. Jeff is also serving as President-Elect and Director of Certification for the Fort Worth CSI Chapter.
Brian lead the original design of the AECredentialing.com website and software development. Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M in 1991 and a Master of Software Engineering from Texas Christian University in 1998. Brian has 18 years experience in developing, leading, and managing software projects. Brian has presented at several national and regional conferences and has been published in proceedings for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Carey is a Senior Software Engineer. Currently Carey has initiated the second generation of AECredentialing.com website design and advanced software development to include increased client self-service capability with "CredentiaList" the industry first solution for complete credentials management. Carey received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1988 and has 16 years experience in developing, leading, and managing web-based software projects.
Lijun's responsibilities include website maintenance and oversight of credentials reports delivery. She received her Master's Degree in Software Engineering from Kansas State University in 2001. She is a Microsoft Certified Professional and Oracle Certified Professional (Java SE 6 Programmer). She is also a Certified Project Management Professional. Lijun has over 20 years of experience in project management, business management and software development.
